Our Data Minimization Principle
PageX collects only the data necessary to generate and monitor schema markup. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Store Data (Read-Only)
To generate schema, we read:
- Product names, descriptions, prices, images
- Collection names and descriptions
- Page titles and content
- Store name, logo, and contact information
- Aggregate review ratings (not individual reviews)
What We Do Not Collect
We never access:
- Customer names, emails, or addresses
- Order history or transaction data
- Payment information
- Shopify admin credentials
- Private metafields marked as restricted
Usage Data
We collect anonymized usage data to improve PageX:
- Which features are used
- Dashboard interaction events
- Error logs (no personal data included)
Data Retention
Store content data is retained while your PageX account is active. After cancellation, store data is deleted within 90 days. You can request immediate deletion — see Data Deletion Requests.
