Why I started this
I have been on your side of this.
I have run companies in India since 2013. One of them, a D2C business, crossed ₹100 crore in revenue.
I still kept my own profit and loss in a Google Sheet, because I did not trust the one I was sent.
My books ran a month or two behind. Notices arrived that nobody expected. Every mistake became my problem, and my cost.
I do not blame my accountant. He had too many clients and not enough hours. That is the real problem, and it is the part that is now fixable.

What we think
Your accountant is not doing a bad job.
This is worth saying plainly, because a lot of firms sell by making the incumbent the villain. That is not the problem and it never was.
The problem is structural, not personal. Filing returns for a small business is mandatory, repetitive work that is still done by hand. One person can carry only so many clients, so the work gets done late, or thinly, or both.
Software did not fix it. Accounting software moved the data entry from the accountant to the business owner. That is not the same as doing the work.
This is a firm, not a product. You are not buying a tool to operate. You are handing over the job, the same as you would to any accounting firm.
A person checks the work. The AI does the repetitive part, which is most of it. What reaches you has been reviewed, and nothing is filed until you authorise it.
Where we are
We are early, and we would rather say so.
PageX is a new firm. We are taking on a small number of businesses at the moment, which means the founder is on your WhatsApp thread rather than a queue, and it also means we are not the right choice for everyone.
If your affairs are complicated in a way we would not serve well, we will tell you on the first call rather than take the work and find out later. A clear no from us is worth more to you than a slow yes.
We are based in Delhi NCR and we work with businesses across India. The work happens on WhatsApp and in a shared Drive folder, so where you are does not change anything.
