In mid-2025, Nikhil and Pragati — with deep experience in e-commerce product building and growth marketing — noticed a seismic shift. ChatGPT had hundreds of millions of users. Perplexity had become a major search player. Google AI Overviews had rolled out worldwide. People weren't just searching anymore — they were asking. And AI was answering with specific recommendations.
We started by auditing Shopify stores. The results were alarming: the vast majority were completely invisible to AI search engines. Beautiful websites, thousands of products, years of reviews — and ChatGPT couldn't understand any of it.
So we built an app to fix it. But we quickly realized the problem was bigger than any app could solve.
