Page Overage Explained

3 min readLast updated: February 2026

What is a Page Overage?

Each paid plan includes a set number of pages. If your store has more pages than your plan allows, the additional pages are billed as overage.

Overage Rates

  • **Starter ($49/mo)** — $79 per 1,000 additional pages
  • **Growth ($149/mo)** — $69 per 1,000 additional pages
  • **Scale ($499/mo)** — $59 per 1,000 additional pages
  • **Free plan** — No overage. Hard stop at 10 pages.

How Overage is Calculated

Overage is calculated at the end of each billing cycle based on the maximum number of pages optimized during that period.

Overage Alerts

Set an overage alert in Settings > Alerts to receive a notification when you are approaching your page limit.

Avoiding Unexpected Overage

  • Use Page Selection Rules to limit which pages are optimized
  • Exclude low-priority pages
  • Consider upgrading to the next plan if you regularly exceed your limit

Free Plan Has No Overage

The Free plan hard-stops at 10 pages. Additional pages are simply not optimized — you will not be billed. Upgrade to Starter to optimize your full store.
