Excluding Pages

Why Exclude Pages?

Some pages should not be optimized — for example, login pages, checkout flows, internal search result pages, or pages with confidential information.

Excluding Individual Pages

To exclude a specific page:

1. Go to Configuration > Excluded Pages

2. Click "Add Exclusion"

3. Enter the page URL or select from your store pages

4. Save

Bulk Exclusion Rules

Exclude groups of pages using patterns:

  • URL contains "/account/"
  • URL contains "/checkout/"
  • URL starts with "/admin/"
  • Pages tagged with "no-index"

Excluded Pages Still Count

Pages excluded from optimization do not count against your plan page limit.

Default Exclusions

PageX automatically excludes these page types:

  • Checkout and cart pages
  • Login and account pages
  • Thank-you / order confirmation pages
  • Internal search results
