Global Optimization Settings
The Optimization Settings panel lets you control how PageX generates and deploys schema across your store.
Schema Generation Mode
Choose how aggressively PageX generates schema:
- **Conservative** - Only adds schema where data is complete and verified
- **Standard (Recommended)** - Generates schema with reasonable inference for missing fields
- **Aggressive** - Maximizes schema coverage; review recommendations before deploying
Auto-Deploy
When enabled, PageX automatically deploys schema improvements when your GEO score drops below a threshold you set. Useful for hands-off optimization.
Re-Scan Frequency
Set how often PageX re-analyzes your store:
- Daily (Scale plan)
- Weekly (Growth plan)
- Monthly (Starter plan)
Schema Markup Style
PageX supports both JSON-LD (recommended) and Microdata. JSON-LD is preferred by all major AI engines and keeps markup separate from your HTML.
Resetting to Defaults
To reset all settings to factory defaults, go to Settings > Advanced > Reset Configuration. This does not remove deployed schema from your live store.
