What we collect, and what we do with it.

Who we are

PageX is run by Nikhil Goyal from Gurugram. If you become a client, the engagement letter names the entity you contract with and carries its registration details.

This website

This site has one contact form and no login. What you type in it, your name, number, business and what you need, is kept privately on our host and used to reply to you, and for nothing else. If you would rather not use the form, you send a WhatsApp message or an email, and at that point we have whatever you chose to send. We set no cookies. Our host counts page views without cookies.

Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs for every site it serves, such as IP address and browser type. Every website host does the same. We do not use that log for tracking or marketing.

If you become a client

To do your accounting we hold what the work requires: your business details, your invoices, bills and bank statements, your tax registrations and portal access, and the records we produce from them.

How we keep your logins

Your GST portal, TRACES and income tax portal logins are the most sensitive things we ask you for. Send them once, at the start, in the Drive folder, never in a WhatsApp message. Only the people doing your work can see or use them, and we do not share them outside PageX.

You can change any of these logins at any time, and you do not have to tell us why. If you stop working with us, change them on the day you tell us, and we will confirm we no longer hold the old ones.

Sensitive documents

If you would rather not send something over WhatsApp, put it in the Drive folder instead. For bank statements and anything with personal details on it, we would prefer you did.

Where your information is kept

Your documents are kept in a Google Drive folder shared with you. Your books are kept in a database we run. The AI that reads your documents and helps prepare drafts is built by Anthropic. Some systems used for the work run outside India, including in the United States.

Messages you send us on WhatsApp reach us through Meta's systems. We copy what matters (the document, the number, the question) into your Drive folder or your books, so the work has a proper record. We do not keep a second copy in a WhatsApp chat thread.

Who else touches your information

Doing your work means parts of your information pass through systems run by other companies. Google, for your Drive folder. Meta, for WhatsApp. Neon, which holds the database that stores your books. Anthropic, whose AI reads your documents and helps prepare drafts. Each of them works for us under a contract. They process information only to support the work. We do not sell client information.

Sharing

Beyond the people doing your work and the companies named above, we do not share your information with anyone else, except where the law requires a disclosure, or where you ask us to give something to your bank, your auditor or your investor. When that happens, we tell you.

How long we keep things

Some of what we hold, such as your GST records, your company books and your income tax records, has to be kept for a period set by law. Each of these has its own rule, and we will tell you which law applies and for how long if you ask. Everything else, we hold only for as long as it is useful to the work.

Keeping your information safe

Your Drive folder is shared only with you and the people doing your work. The database holding your books is reachable only by us. Nobody at PageX has access to a client's records unless they are working on them, and we do not keep your information on a personal device beyond the day's work.

If something goes wrong

If we discover a breach involving your information, we will tell you what happened, what was involved, what we did about it, and what you should do. Where the law requires it, we will also report it to the Data Protection Board of India.

Consent and withdrawal

When you give us your documents and your portal access, you are agreeing to let us use them to do your work. You can withdraw that consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Tell us on WhatsApp or by email.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. You can ask us to correct it, and we will. You can ask us to delete what we are not required by law to keep, and we will. You can withdraw your consent at any time. And you can name someone else who can exercise these rights on your behalf, for example if something happens to you.

This policy

This version of this policy is effective from 1 September 2026. If we make a change that materially affects how we handle an existing client's information, we tell them on WhatsApp.
